Personalized Learning is an educational model that fits under the umbrella of independent study. Personalized Learning takes into consideration an individual student’s talents, strengths, skills, and challenges to create an academic program that may include classroom instruction, distance or virtual learning, group or individual work sessions, and learning styles. Personalized Learning programs are designed for individual students and accountability is provided under the supervision of a credentialed teacher.
