CAHS Industrial Robotics Team Awarded $2,500 Grant

January 12, 2026

Classical Academy High School's Industrial Robotics Team was awarded a $2,500 Educator Grant from the Cal Coast Cares Foundation. The grant will support a student-led robotics project featuring two synchronized industrial robot arms, to be showcased at Super STEM Saturday at California State University San Marcos on March 14, 2026. The annual event draws more than 21,000 attendees as part of the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering. Grant funds will be used to purchase a large-format 3D printer, allowing students to fabricate critical components and successfully deploy their demonstration. The Industrial Robotics Team is entirely student-planned, built, and presented, with volunteer professional mentors providing hands-on training in coding, fabrication, and engineering design. The team is grateful to the Cal Coast Cares Foundation for its generous support of student-centered STEM learning.
