Classical Academy High School senior Nicholas Usher won the Grand Prize for the Physical Sciences in the Senior Division at the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair in mid-March. This win qualifies him to compete at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). He, and his collaborating partner, Logan Brown, will represent the San Diego Region at ISEF in Dallas, Texas in May this year. Usher and Brown's project was "A Differentially-Geared, Omnidirectional Robotics Platform with Autonomous, Jerk-Limited Navigation."
