Classical Academy High School’s Caiman Corps marching band capped an extraordinary 2025 fall season by placing 12th at the 2025 California State Band Championships (CSBC) 1–3A State Championships—the highest ranking in program history. The achievement also earned the Corps recognition as the #1 marching band in San Diego County for its division, highlighting the ensemble’s rapid competitive growth. Earlier in the season, the band secured a record-breaking 2nd-place finish at the CSBC Great Oak Tournament and swept its division at the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA) circuit, taking 1st-place awards in band, guard, and percussion. With the fall marching season now complete, Caiman Corps transitions into its robust spring performance schedule, which includes jazz band, orchestra, concert band, as well as competitive winter drumline and winter guard.
