Andre Ricardo, a junior at Classical Academy Online, was recently recognized as a 2019 Carson Scholar from the Carson Scholars Fund. He received a $1,000 scholarship for academic excellence and community service. Andre is currently a First Violin in the San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra and founded the San Marcos Youth Strings, which performs throughout the county and provides weekly violin and cello lessons to kids. He has earned recognition from the Union-Tribune and is a part of the National Honor Society. He plans to pursue a degree in law and become an attorney one day.
