Coastal Academy High School hosted a community event in late March, engaging parents and students in groundbreaking a new garden space. The team excavated a hillside, leveled the site, installed four raised garden beds, and laid the foundation for a shed. The space will soon become a hands-on learning environment where students can explore food science and sustainability. The garden was funded by a generous grant from the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation. Those interested in contributing to the garden can contact foundation@classicalacademy.com.
