Coastal Academy Associated Student Body (ASB) students Laila Greensmith, Lauren Bailey, and Olivia Welch have taken leadership roles in launching a student-run newspaper. These hard-working girls have brainstormed content and have begun writing articles to highlight school events, spotlight student and teacher success, and share school events and activities. They also solicited community donations to pay for supplies such as paper and ink. ASB leaders Janelle Polak and Lara DeHaven have supported the efforts and expect the first publication in January 2023.
