Coastal Academy sixth-grade student Kailey Whiteside played the lead role of Molly Aster in Peter and The Starcatcher with Moonlight Youth Theatre. Kailey’s passion for theater began with a short summer camp program two years ago and quickly led to weekly vocal, dance, and acting workshops. Kailey continued to practice her skills and auditioned for roles at various theaters. Her hard work, dedication, and passion for theater paid off when she landed the lead role in March. The show played at the Avo Theater in Vista. Look for Kailey on stage soon at a theater nearby!
