Eighty Classical Academy Middle School 7th graders traveled on a scientific adventure at Fox Landing, Catalina, in mid-September. Students snorkeled, kayaked, worked in teams to solve problems, and conducted experiments. Lab work included oceanography, squid dissection, plankton evolution, astronomy, and a tide pool adventure! Many students also participated in the sunrise hike for a spectacular island view and took a polar plunge! This annual field trip is a highlight for 7th-grade students!
