Students and staff from Classical Academy Middle School (CAMS) rolled up their sleeves and gave back during the school’s annual service event, CAMS in the Community. The daylong initiative engaged students in meaningful acts of service across Escondido and surrounding areas, reinforcing the values of empathy, teamwork, and civic responsibility. Students partnered with a wide range of local organizations, including city departments, schools, nonprofits, and community centers, to complete hands-on service projects that included pulling weeds, cleaning classrooms, assembling lunch kits, recycling cans, washing vans and windows, and more. “CAMS in the Community is more than a day of service; it’s an opportunity for students to put character into action,” said Jennifer Morrow, Principal of Classical Academy Middle School. “It’s incredible to see our students take pride in giving back and making a real difference.”
