Elizabeth Newton is a seventh-grade student at Classical Academy Vista who recently took home the BMX World Championship title for girls 12 and under in Glasgow, Scotland. San Diego District 5 Supervisor Jim Desmond recognized Newton's accomplishments with an official proclamation. Newton has won 31 national titles and travels globally to compete.
