Classical Academy High School’s rookie FTC robotics team, Rayvolution, is building meaningful community partnerships to support its future in STEM innovation. Masa Tool, a local micro-precision machine shop led by CEO Matt Saccomanno, has stepped in to support the next generation of engineers. Recently, Rayvolution students visited the Masa Tool facility to demonstrate their competition robot, tour the shop, and gain firsthand insight into the world of micro-precision machining, including Masa Tool’s innovative Microconic System. This partnership provides students with valuable real-world exposure to advanced manufacturing while highlighting the impact of local industry leaders investing in education. As Rayvolution continues its season, the team looks forward to deepening and expanding its understanding of engineering and design through hands-on learning experiences.
