Coastal Academy High School (CAH) is proud to announce it has been awarded the prestigious California College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) Grant, paving the way for an exciting new Dual Enrollment Program in partnership with Mira Costa College.
This groundbreaking program will empower CAH students with the opportunity to take college-level pathways while completing their high school education. By earning both high school and college credit simultaneously, students will gain a head start in their academic journey, preparing them for success in college, career, and beyond.
The CCAP Grant provides essential funding for staffing, academic counseling, and infrastructure support, enabling students in the program to receive the guidance and tools necessary to excel and thrive.
“This partnership with Mira Costa College represents a significant step forward in expanding opportunities for our students,” said CAH Principal Samantha Martinez. “By engaging in college coursework early, students can build confidence, explore career pathways, and make meaningful progress toward their future goals.”
The Dual Enrollment Program is scheduled to launch in spring 2025, providing students with an exceptional opportunity to challenge themselves academically while saving time and money on future college coursework. The upcoming Dual Enrollment Program is another example of how The Classical Academies continues to invest in and champion innovative opportunities that empower students to thrive in school and beyond.
