Classical Academy High School senior Luke Haubruge is among the top 22 national players who will represent the USA at the World Deaf Soccer Championships Sept. 20 - October 8, 2023, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Haubruge, born with congenital hearing loss, has played soccer since age 3. He has dreamed of one day representing the US on the National Men's Deaf Soccer Team once he learned it was a possibility. Luke, who graduates next year, hopes to play soccer at Western Washington University or the University of Oregon, where he plans to study business.
