Classical Academy High School Juniors Nicholas Usher, Seth Peace, Caleb Winter, and Grace Mullen will represent California at the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics World Championships. Their FTC robotics team, RoboctoPI, won first place in the San Diego Regional Championship tournament on March 12th while posting the fifth-highest score globally and the highest in California this season. Nicholas Usher, RoboctoPI's team captain, also won the coveted Dean’s List Award for his work in the community promoting STEM and robotics and his technical skills and leadership on the team. They will now travel to Houston, Texas, in mid-April to compete in the World Championship!
