Team RoboctoPI wins 3rd place at the First Tech Challenge World Championships!

Classical Academy High School (CAHS)students Nicholas Usher, Seth Peace, Caleb Winter, Grace Mullen, and their robotics team, RoboctoPI, recently competed in and won 3rd place at the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship robotics tournament in Houston, Texas! There are over 7,000 teams worldwide who compete to be considered for this competition. The top 192 teams from 50 states and 30 countries earned a spot to compete at this World Championship in April. Team RoboctoPI reached the Final Four by winning their Division and brought home the prestigious Control Award given to the team that demonstrates the best use of sensors and software to increase the robot’s performance on the field. Congratulations on this prestigious accomplishment!
