Students at The Classical Academy have been growing vegetables in raised garden beds since September and are harvesting their efforts. Four classes of students grew vegetables from seeds and learned to propagate, water, and prune. Their harvest of kale, lettuce, cilantro, green onions, and carrots was carefully washed and shared among them. This gardening class teaches essential life skills such as patience, accountability, and environmental stewardship while encouraging positive dietary habits.
